Formats

Type	What to expect
Classic slots	Usually three reels, few paylines and simple symbols such as sevens, bars and fruit. Few or no bonus features.
Video slots	Five or more reels, many paylines or ways to win, themed graphics and bonus features such as free spins.
Feature-heavy slots	Cascading reels, multipliers, variable reel sizes or bonus-buy options. Often higher volatility.
Jackpot slots	Include a large top prize, sometimes growing as players bet. The chance of winning it on any spin is very small.
